How Big Will my Vizsla be? Female Puppy Weight Charts

January 25, 2021

I’ve been tracking Whiskey and Bourbon’s weight as they’ve been growing up and it’s a frequent question I get. Whiskey’s adult weight is about 52lbs, which she reached over 2 years old for reference. Whiskey was weaned from kibble to homecooked food, to raw as a puppy. Bourbon was switched straight to raw within 2 days (raw-fed reportedly slower to reach full weight). Whiskey had numerous digestive issues (Giardia, picky eating) as a puppy, and Bourbon has had none (outside of eating questionable rotten carcasses outside).

Hi there! We have a hound-mix, similar build as a puppy and similar weight at 4 months, so I was wondering how much your two weighed now for comparison? Thank you!

Whiskey I think has always been around 50-54lbs, and Bourbon’s still around 41lbs. She’s too skinny though but she keeps moving and it’s very hard to put weight on her!

What specifically were you feeding as raw food? Just straight meat? We just got a 8 week old Vizsla.

We feed a mix of bone, muscle meat, and organ as well as vegetables. If you keep reading through you’ll see more details about proportions. please do not just feed muscle meat as it will be very nutrient deficient and bad for your pet.
